The Problem
Having the right ridge vent installed for proper roof ventilation matters. This customer had a low profile, mesh rolled ridge vent installed with their previous roof replacement. As you can see from the photos, not only did the ridge vent not vent properly, it leaked causing damage to the plywood at the peak of the roof and water damage inside the home.
The Solution
It was replaced with a high performance ridge vent. This particular one that we installed was the Owens Corning VentSure 4-Foot Strip Ridge Vents. The flexibility and sturdy construction of the vent helps it conform to any roof slope, keep debris like leaves from clogging the vent all while providing outstanding airflow.
