The Problem
The customer lives in a home with a flat roof. The roof was leaking. Upon inspection we noticed that the existing roof while forming cracks was in good enough shape to coat with a specialized 100% silicone roof coating.
The Solution
The process is to clean and prep the roof. In this roof scenario there was no ventilation, so we installed aluminum one-way vents (gray vents in pics) to help the roof’s ventilation. We applied one coat of the silicone coating. We came back the next day to apply the second and final coat. This coating option filled in the cracks on her existing roof, coated the whole roof in a rubberized, silicone coating which extended the life of the roof by 15 years all while costing a fraction of what a full tear off and replacement would cost.
